Temporary Unavailability

Due to the ongoing recovery from drought and bushfires, we are currently experiencing a shortage of honey. As a result, 1kg honey will not be available for purchase at this time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to restore supply.

Raw Certified Organic Kangaroo Island Honey

Flavour:

1. Cup Gum: Australian Eucalyptus tree, the honey has a slight caramel flavour.

2. Coastal Flora: Multi Flora, Spring flower along the coast of the island and can vary from season to season. The honey usually has a stronger or bolder flavour.

3. Spring Flora: Multi Flora, Spring flower inland of the island and can vary from season to season. The honey usually has a light floral flavour.

4. Sugar Gum: Australian Eucalyptus tree, the honey is a very sweet flavour.

5. Stringy Bark: not available since bush fires

Creamed Honey:

Rich creamy honey. Creamed honey has nothing added to it, it is just honey that has been whipped while in a candy form creating a thicker smooth creamy paste.

We only do creamed honey in the cooler months

as in hot weather the honey can liquify back down to its original runny honey state.

Shipping:

Please note all larger Jars 1kg, 500g, 450g creamed are shipped in a plastic container. If you are wanting glass, please mention in notes and be aware postage cost may be greater and there is a greater possibility for breakage in post.

Organic Status
We have Organic Certification through (NASAA) National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia/(OCF) The Organic Food Chain Pty Ltd and we can extract around 26 tons of honey a year under their stringent guidelines.

Strict guidelines are adhered to and stringent records are kept of hive locations, extraction, storage and sales so all honey produced can be traced through each step.

Raw

Raw means its still is alive unprocessed and not heated above hive temperture. It still has all it healing properties. Raw honey is as it is in the beehive nothing done to it. Raw honey will promote general health and healing.

We do not feed sugar syrups so you want find any in our honey.
Due to breakage of glass jars through Australia Post, we can only post 1kg in plastic screw top containers, we do not post tubs as lids can come off. If wanting in glass jars you must order a minimum of 12 jars or more and be willing to wait up to 4 weeks for delivery. We can freight any size in glass in large amounts other wise they will be sent in plastic jars. Please contact us if wanting to order bulk lots in glass.
